Women!

Women!

You can't live with them, but when you try to kill them they run away screaming and then you have to chase them and then somebody grabs onto your shoulder and then you have to say: "I know this seems bad officer, what with the knife in the hand and my sobbing girlfriend but this isn't what it looks like" and then they don't believe you and you have to postpone the whole thing until after the court date and then you get to thinking somehow I still love her, and anyway, what would I do with the body and also I would be all alone and I already miss her but she made me so goddamn mad and only then I noticed so many things that have been bugging me for years so it came all out while she was gone and now I don't know what to do, yet I think about her all the time and maybe she could change only they say people don't change but she said she would and I would so love to have her in my arms right now.

  1. Awww, Boris! This has to be the single most awesome sentence I've read all of this year, honest to god, and the worst/best part of it is I know exactly what you mean. So... *silently offers virtual hug*. I would come over to Lausanne and give you a real one (while checking out your new metro which apparently bans musicians and so I think may be the closest thing to public transport heaven I have ever known) but you and I know how I feel about your fascination with knives... even this sentence, as awesome as it is, carries on with the theme, as does the subsequent post. So! Bon courage, dear friend, and... oh, hey, can we recruit her to the vegan movement now? Just kidding! (or not.) This is the worst part, I'm sure - it gets better from here on out. I look forward to updates...

  2. You know, back when I was typing that I did think: "There I go again, reinforcing the mysterious' Adwoas image of me as a rabid, knife-flinging maniac - at this rate I shall never get to meet her." I even contemplated putting something else in, but I wanted to have something funny in an otherwise very depressing post.

But think you for your support, even it is from afar, it is much appreciated!
